About Me
Hello, my name is Abrianna Zuccaro. I am the youngest of six kids. I was born in McKinney, Texas. After some family trouble, my dad decided to move my siblings and me somewhere better. With some stops along the way, we finally moved to South Dakota, where he was from. After moving to South Dakota, I went to my first school. James Valley Christian School in Huron. Going to one school my entire life as a kid was enjoyable because you got to build some really good relationships. I enjoyed it, but when it came time to graduate, I was very ready to leave.
After graduating, I decided I wanted to go to Southeast Technical College. So far I have learned so much and can see myself improving along the way. Right now I am in my second year in Media Design at Southeast Tech. For an assignment, I had to make a magazine entirely by myself. I had to find and write the content, make the ads, and take the pictures, all originally by me.
The title of my magazine, Immersion, is based on the word immerse, which means to be deeply involved in a certain activity or interest. Immersion is an act of immersing or the state of being immersed. I chose this title because I hope people who read my magazine will be immersed in it and want to read it cover to cover. I worked very hard on it, and I hope you can enjoy it just as much as I enjoyed making it.
This magazine features two full-page ads, four smaller ads, an industry interview, and a small business interview. The main point of this magazine is the interviews. It was really fun to interview my subjects and get to know them better. It was fun learning about their thoughts and how they came to where they are today. I learned a lot from them, and I hope by reading it you will be about to. It takes a lot of work for them to do what they do, and they are both very inspiring.
